Remove Brunvo cleanly.

Removing Brunvo and, if you choose, everything it keeps.

Uninstall from Settings

Open Settings ▸ Advanced and choose Uninstall Brunvo…. Before anything happens it lists every step it will take, with the files and folders each one touches, and asks you to confirm. Three choices change the plan:

  • Also delete Brunvo's data (desks, settings, prompts, history).
  • Reset privacy permissions (the answers you gave macOS for Brunvo, such as access to protected folders).
  • Move Brunvo to the Trash.

It then runs the steps in this order, and stops at the first one that fails:

  1. Takes Brunvo's block out of your agents' instruction files, backing each file up first (kept while another Brunvo app is installed).
  2. Removes the background service's login item and stops the service.
  3. Ends every running session. Their programs and agents stop now, so finish or save your work first.
  4. Removes the brunvo command link.
  5. Moves Brunvo's data to the Trash, if you chose to.
  6. Resets macOS's privacy answers for Brunvo, if you chose to.
  7. Moves the app to the Trash, if you chose to, and quits.

Files and folders go to the Trash, never straight to deletion, so you can take something back until you empty it.

See the plan first

brunvo uninstall --dry-run prints the same plan without changing anything. Add --data, --reset-privacy, or --keep-app to see those choices, and --json for a script. Uninstalling itself needs the app.

What uninstalling leaves alone

  • Your agent CLIs and their sign-ins: Brunvo never installed them.
  • Your projects: Brunvo never deletes a folder you opened as a desk.
  • Your Brunvo account and membership. To stop paying, cancel from your account's billing page before or after uninstalling; to delete the account and its data, use your account page.

If you already deleted Brunvo from Applications, download it again, open it from Applications, and uninstall from Settings, so the service, its login item, and the command link are removed too.
