When something is wrong.

The health check, diagnostics for support, and common fixes.

Start with the health check

Run brunvo doctor in any terminal. It checks the background service, Git and the GitHub CLI, its own files' permissions, the agent rules, the agent CLI versions, access to protected folders, and duplicate agents, and prints one line each: PASS, WARN (worth a look; nothing stops working), or FAIL (something Brunvo needs is broken), with what to do about each WARN or FAIL. It changes nothing, and it runs even when the service does not.

In the app, Setup and Health… in the profile button's popover shows every first-run step as it stands now; open one to fix it.

Common problems

The window closed or crashed, and my sessions?

They are still running: the background service holds them, not the window. Open Brunvo again and every desk comes back as you left it.

"The service does not answer"

Open Brunvo. If it keeps happening, check that Brunvo is allowed in System Settings ▸ General ▸ Login Items. When the doctor says the service is "run by the app", the login item is not registered; allow it there and reopen Brunvo. Logging out or restarting ends running programs either way. Saved screens and captured agent conversations can restore with an active membership.

brunvo: command not found

Open Brunvo once from Applications; it makes the link at ~/.brunvo/bin/brunvo. In terminals outside Brunvo, add export PATH="$HOME/.brunvo/bin:$PATH" to your shell's profile.

An agent shows no status, or a notice says its version is untested

Run brunvo versions to see the installed and running versions against the tested ones. Some features need the agent to be started by Brunvo; the agents guide says which.

A folder asks for access again and again, or a desk cannot open its folder

The doctor's folder access line names it. Allow Brunvo in System Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ Files & Folders.

Brunvo opened from the disk image

It asks to move itself to Applications, where its service and updates work. Choose Move to Applications.

Brunvo says it is in limited mode

brunvo license says why and what is paused. Running sessions are never affected; sign in or check your membership from the profile button.

Contact support

For a problem or idea, use Help ▸ Report a Problem or Idea… to open the Support window, and follow it in My Support Requests. Choose Attach Diagnostics…, review the report, then Add to Request. You can remove it from the form; nothing sends until you press Send. Questions and billing go by email.

Help ▸ Contact Support by Email… writes an email to support@brunvo.com that names your version and macOS. Turn on Attach diagnostics to add a report you read in full first (counts, versions, states, and error codes; never your terminal content, commands, paths, names, or credentials). You can also copy or save the report, or just write to support@brunvo.com.

Include what you expected, what happened instead, and the output of brunvo doctor. It shows a few file paths on your Mac (the command link, Git, the rules files); remove any you would rather not share.
