Terms of Service
Effective date:
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Schedule Key LLC, doing business as Brunvo ("Brunvo", "we", "us"), 8695 Hillbolt Rd, Cat Spring, TX 78933, United States. They cover your Brunvo account, your subscription, the Brunvo app for Mac (the "App"), brunvo.com, and the online services the App uses (together, the "Service"). The App is also covered by the End User License Agreement ("EULA"). Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data, and the Subscription, Cancellation, and Refund Policy sets out how billing works.
By creating an account, starting a trial, subscribing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm that you may bind it, and "you" includes it.
1. What Brunvo is
Brunvo is a workspace for the Mac that keeps terminal sessions running, organizes them into desks, and runs AI coding command-line tools that you install and sign in to yourself. Brunvo does not provide, resell, or sign in to any AI service. Brunvo is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI, the OpenCode project, or any other AI provider; their names are used only to describe the tools the App can run.
2. Your account
- You need an account to use the App beyond its sign-in screen. You may sign in with GitHub, Google, Sign in with Apple, where offered, or a one-time code sent to your email address.
- You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if that is higher.
- Keep your sign-in methods secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Each Brunvo profile on a Mac signs in to its own account, and each account holds its own membership.
3. Trial, subscription, and payment
- Brunvo is a paid product. Each new account gets one free 14-day trial, which starts the first
time you open the App on your Mac and sign in, not when you make your account. It needs no payment
card and it never turns into a paid subscription by itself. One trial is available per account and
per email address (variants of one address, such as
name+tag@, count as the same address), and each Mac can start trials for two accounts. If you subscribe on the website before trying the App, your membership starts right away, without a trial. - A membership costs US$19.99 per month or US$199.99 per year, plus any taxes that apply. Prices may be shown in your local currency at checkout.
- Payments are handled by Stripe through Stripe Managed Payments. Under it, Link, Stripe's reseller
service, is the seller of record for your payment: Link charges you, your card statement shows a
charge from Link (such as
LINK.COM* BRUNVO), and Link sends your receipts and invoices. Link's own terms also apply to the payment. - Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, at the price you agreed to, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in your account at brunvo.com/account or at link.com. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- We will tell you at least 30 days before a price change applies to you, and you may cancel before it does.
- When we cancel a subscription for you. A full refund, a payment dispute (when it is opened, or if it is decided against you), or an early fraud warning from your card issuer cancels the subscription at once and ends paid access; after an early fraud warning we also refund the charge. If you end up with two subscriptions by mistake, we cancel the extra one at once and refund it.
- Refunds and the EU and UK right of withdrawal are covered in the Subscription, Cancellation, and Refund Policy.
Team memberships
If you buy a team membership, you choose the number of seats and pay for all of them, and you invite the people who use them. Each person on a team signs in with their own account. The team's owner and members can see the team's name and its members' email addresses, and the owner can see open invitations, remove members, and cancel the team's membership. The number of seats is set when you buy; to change it, write to support@brunvo.com. These Terms apply to every member.
Complimentary memberships
We may give a membership free of charge, for example for the private beta, to students, or to open-source maintainers. It lasts until the end date we give, and these Terms apply to it like any other membership. If you already pay for your own membership and the free one lasts at least until the end of your current billing period, your paid subscription stops at the end of that period, with no further charge; you can renew it from your account afterwards.
4. Devices and limited mode
- A membership covers up to 3 Macs per account at a time. You may swap a Mac for another up to 3 times in 30 days; a Mac that has not checked in for 60 days is released automatically.
- The App checks your membership with our servers from time to time and works offline between checks for up to 14 days.
- If your membership ends, a payment fails and retries are exhausted, a trial ends without a purchase, or a charge is refunded, disputed, or flagged by an early fraud warning, the App enters limited mode. In limited mode your running sessions keep running, you can still type into them, scroll, copy, save, and export your work, and you can close what you no longer need. Starting new sessions, the Manager, automation, and connected services are paused until your membership is active again; sessions interrupted by a restart of your Mac are restored once it is. Brunvo never stops your running sessions because of a billing problem.
- An outage of our servers will not put you in limited mode while it lasts; we may extend every Mac's offline window by publishing a signed notice.
5. AI tools and other third-party software
- The App runs command-line tools made by others, such as Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, and Grok CLIs. You install them, you sign in to them with your own accounts through each provider's own sign-in, and you are responsible for complying with each provider's terms when you use Brunvo to run or automate that provider's tool.
- The App never reads, stores, or forwards your AI provider credentials.
- The Manager and extensions can type into a provider's sessions only after you turn that on for that provider. Automated typing is off until you do. Some providers restrict automated use of their consumer plans; check their terms before you turn it on.
- Output from AI tools comes from those tools, not from Brunvo. Review it before you rely on it. We are not responsible for third-party tools, their output, their availability, or their charges.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated breaches, as section 11 explains.
7. Your content
Your terminal content, scrollback, commands, prompts, files, and repositories stay on your Mac. You keep all rights to them. We do not claim any ownership of your content, and the App does not send it to us. What the App does send is listed in the Privacy Policy.
8. Feedback
If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them without obligation to you.
9. Beta features
We may offer beta versions or features, including the optional beta update channel in the App's settings. Betas may be incomplete or unstable, may change or end at any time, and are provided as they are. Use them on work you can afford to redo.
10. Changes to the Service and these Terms
- We improve the Service over time and may change or remove features. If a change materially reduces what you pay for, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel.
- We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email or in the App before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new Terms apply; if you do not agree, cancel before they take effect.
11. Suspension and termination
- You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time at brunvo.com/account. Deleting your account cancels your subscription and deactivates your Macs. While a payment dispute on your account is still open, the account can be deleted only once the dispute is resolved.
- We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Where reasonable we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. Ending access never deletes your local work; your running sessions keep running in limited mode.
12. If Brunvo ends
If we ever stop offering the Service, every member with an active paid membership at that time will receive a final license for the last released version of the App that does not expire and needs no check-in.
13. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any AI tool's output will be accurate. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or, in the EU and UK, gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these Terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill, and the limits in this section apply only as far as the law of your country allows.
15. Indemnity
If you use the Service for business, you will cover our reasonable costs from third-party claims that arise from your breach of these Terms or of an AI provider's terms. This section does not apply to consumers.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state courts located in Austin County, Texas, or in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. Before going to court, please write to us at support@brunvo.com so we can try to resolve the problem. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and may bring a claim in your local courts.
17. Export and sanctions
You may not use the Service where US law prohibits it, or if you are on a US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
18. General
These Terms, the EULA, and the policies they link are the whole agreement about the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may assign these Terms to a successor, such as a company that takes over the business; you may not assign them without our consent. Failing to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
